    Search within the sites of university alumni magazines for their notable alumni.  Example: FedEx founder and Memphis native Fred Smith has three mentions in the Yale Alumni Magazine.

    Enter the DoctorFinder site with the verification code, click “For Patients”, and locate AMA-member and non-member physicians with their specialties, training history, and contact information.
  • Corporate Executives and Directors
    A Forbes site to search for officers and directors at public companies — information may include executive title, directorships, biography, Forbes rankings, compensation, and recent news.
  • Legacy
    Obituaries from more than 800 U.S. and Canadian newspapers.  The most recent 60 days of obituaries are available for FREE; all others require a fee.  Enter a name and click Search, or narrow your search by state, newspaper, date range, and keyword. A clickable U.S. map at the bottom lists which newspapers share obituaries with this site.
  • Martindale Hubbell
    National directory of lawyers--search by lawyer name or firm name. Profiles include title, firm name and contact information, practice areas, education, birth date, bar memberships, and work history.
  • Slate 60
    An annual list of the top 60 charitable gifts from U.S. philanthropists, with donor bios and links to prior years’ rankings. 
  • Social Security Death Index
    A good place to start when trying to determine if someone has died.  Multiple search options--enter as little or as much information as desired.  Matches will show birth and death dates, and city and state of last known address.
  • Spoke
    A networking site showing businesses’ employees and connections. Scroll down to the Find bar and enter a person’s name.  Choose your prospect’s name from the hits to view job title, contact information, job history, and potential connections. 
  • UTK's Notable Alumni
    List of some distinguished UT-Knoxville alumni, both living and deceased.  Links to Notables@Torchbearer .
  • Vitals
    Another physician finder. Enter the doctor’s name and city or state.  Information may include office address, specialty, hospital affiliation, and education.
  • ZoomInfo
    Add your prospect’s First and Last name in the space on the upper left.  Scroll through the returned list to determine if any match your prospect.  Returned information may include title, employment, city/state, background, and web references.
